Bioremediation is a nature-based process in which organisms break down, remove, immobilize, or detoxify pollutants. It occurs in wetlands, the “Kidneys of the Earth”. They help detoxify our landscapes and reduce pollution while offering many other ecosystem services.

We create BIOPOD Hotspots—community hubs that turn agricultural waste and Indigenous plants into resources. Through workshops and crowdsourced environmental data, we empower communities to drive sustainable change from the ground up.
